As coordinator of LUMINA, Aalborg University leads the development of the project's core methodologies, including the BRONCHI Digital Twin and the underlying AI models. AAU contributes expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, biomedical engineering, image analysis, predictive modelling, and high-performance computing. The university also provides the CLAAUDIA research infrastructure that supports large-scale data processing, multimodal data integration, and AI model development throughout the project.

The Humanitas AI Center brings extensive expertise in medical artificial intelligence, radiology, computer vision, digital pathology, and multimodal data analysis. Building on experience from major European research initiatives, the centre contributes to the development of generative AI models, multimodal data synthesis, and federated AI approaches. Humanitas also plays a key role in clinical imaging expertise, helping ensure the scientific and clinical quality of the project's AI-driven technologies.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications at Cracow University of Technology contributes advanced expertise in artificial intelligence, deep learning, image analysis, and predictive modelling. Within LUMINA, CUT supports the development of multimodal AI models for risk prediction, treatment response modelling, and explainable AI. The university plays a central role in transforming complex clinical and imaging data into clinically relevant predictive insights.

Politecnico di Milano contributes expertise in health technology assessment, implementation science, innovation management, and healthcare systems. The university helps evaluate the clinical usefulness, impact, and adoption potential of the technologies developed within LUMINA. POLIMI also supports ethical assessment, policy alignment, and regulatory considerations to ensure that the project's innovations are developed in a transparent, responsible, and sustainable manner.

Region Hovedstaden contributes clinical expertise and real-world validation capabilities through leading Danish hospitals and specialised radiology and oncology environments. The region supports data collection, image annotation, biomarker validation, and clinical evaluation of the project's technologies. Through its healthcare institutions and research environments, RH helps ensure that LUMINA's digital twin models are developed and assessed with a strong focus on clinical relevance and patient care.

Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology (MSCNRIO) provides clinical expertise in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment as well as access to real-world patient data representing a broad range of disease types and treatment pathways. The institute contributes to data governance, ethics, regulatory compliance, and FAIR data management practices. As an active participant in several European cancer initiatives, MSCNRIO helps ensure that LUMINA's methodologies and data frameworks align with international standards and best practices.

Ajou University Medical Center strengthens LUMINA's international perspective by contributing clinical data and validation capabilities from Asian lung cancer populations. The centre supports model validation across diverse patient groups, helping improve the generalisability and robustness of the project's technologies. AUMC's involvement ensures that the BRONCHI Digital Twin is evaluated using data from different healthcare systems and patient populations, supporting its future applicability on a global scale.
